Prince Harry has been in the news a lot recently due to his relationship with actress Meghan Markle. However, it’s his facial hair which has really pushed him into the limelight after coming out on top of a “Sexiest Beard” poll.
The Royal beat some pretty tough competition
The Prince even beat Hollywood heart throbs such as Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper in the poll. Participants voted Harry had the sexiest beard, not just in the UK, or compared to a set number of celebrities – but in the entire world! Languishing at the bottom of the poll were Brad Pitt, Jim Carrey and Joaquin Phoenix.
It wasn’t just women who participated in the poll. Men were also asked to give their opinions. It was discovered that 45% of the men who responded, claimed they were unable to grow a beard.
It could come as some comfort that out of the women who were polled, 62% of them claimed they prefer men who are cleanly shaven. However, men who are still desperate to grow a beard but who simply cannot do so, do have an option- a beard transplant.
