In a continued effort to engage with our local community and spread the word about scalp pigmentation, this year HIS Hair will seek to have a presence at major local events across the country. We’re happy to announce that one of the first major events that we’ll be participating in this summer is the 44th Annual San Francisco Pride Celebration this Saturday and Sunday at the San Francisco Civic Cent in downtown.
An event steeped in rich history, SF Pride is more than just a celebration of diversity, but an event that salutes forward thinking and tolerance.
And beyond the celebration and parade, SF Pride is also a grant-giving organization through its Community Partners Program. Since 1997, SF Pride has granted nearly $2.3 million dollars from proceeds of the Pride Celebration and Parade to local non-profit LGBT organizations and those organizations working on issues related to HIV/AIDS, cancer, homelessness, and animal welfare.
